Comment:

 Tested this on my iPhone where I can't drag a widget. nacin tested it on
 his iPad where it works "beautifully in fact".

 Haven't looked much deep into the code right now, but it seems like it's
 already optimized for smaller screens. On which devices have you got some
 trouble?
