 If you mean `magic_quotes_gpc = Off` in PHP (<5.4) that's the default, and
 the whole thing removed in PHP 5.4. That INI-setting doesn't affect
 WordPress. WordPress has it's own magic quotes function, if I have got it
 right. And then that usage is what's being discussed.
