Comment:

 I meant on the front end when your site is displayed, HTML eats it. And at
 that point, what was the point, outside of preformatted code?  (Which I
 really hope you didn't paste from word in the first place...). Switching
 between visual and html on 3.9 doesn't delete the space.

 Paste as Text in 3.9 retains the space now, so this would be fixed in
 TinyMCE 4.0

 Also, Paste From Word is '''gone''' in 3.9 alpha so you just ... paste.
