Comment:

 I don't feel strongly about this ticket. I'm not against doing this. That
 said, given the ''current'' browser market, where IE6 is long dead, do we
 find this to be a particularly compelling need? The only reason why I like
 it is to be consistent with styles, but it's far less useful for scripts
 than it is for styles.
