 Upon successful login, you are sent to example.com/yoursite/wp-admin

 Upon successful login, you get the Access Denied page (see #17121 )

 You should have gone to ''either'' yoursite.example.com/wp-admin ''or''
 the user dashboard page.

 (FWIW, this always happened on Subdomains as far as I recall, to the point
 that I just assumed that was normal!)
