 camaran, can you get back to us with an answer please? Was Multisite
 activated on your site prior to or after WordPress version 3.5?

 `ms-files.php` hasn't changed in a long while, but something connected to
 it may well have.

 Can you test your site with all plugins deactivated and the default theme
 enabled?
