 I was curious about that sentence on the About page too. I think it only
 applies to bbPress and BuddyPress (and probably Akismet and importer
 plugins), as they are the only ones currently available for translation in
 GlotPress.

 Or does the repository actually parse language files uploaded via SVN for
 each plugin?
