plugin. Advising them of how they can (probably) install two versions of

Yeah, it looks like I'm wrong, I just tried it.
So I'd suggest just something like this:
> The plugin folder `"/my-plugin"` already exists. If you are trying to
update a plugin, you need to delete the old plugin folder first.
