 After disabling then re-enabling jetpack, nothing works.

 It says I need to "connect your website to WordPress.com using the button
 to the right."

 Pressing the button errors out saying the following.

 "Your Jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to
 happen. Guess you’re just lucky: jetpack_id
 Try connecting again. Error Details: Jetpack ID is empty. Do not publicly
 post this error message!"

 What has happened?
