 @nacin - you may want to look at the code within my plugin. I believe it
 to be efficient and it handles network transients as well.

 @mark8barnes - agreed. However, it keeps my plugin relevant as it's been
 happily deleting expired transients daily and I've not recieved any
 reports of is causing problems ;)
