 This patch has had a lot of good traction, but it's been mainly developer
 feedback and not as much UX spitballing and conversation.

 This ticket could benefit from the "plugin as a feature" approach.
 Improving search is a huge undertaking, and could serve as a flagship
 feature in a future release.
