 @pauldewouters: Thanks for the patch. :)

 Just a couple of things:

 - Please remove all functional doc changes (file header, functions, and
 requires/includes) - we're only documenting the hooks right now.
 - Version numbers should be 3-digit (i.e., 3.6.0).

 Could you make these changes and resubmit the patch please?
