 There is no disagreement on what is the standard transcription rules.

 I just would prefer the current way, "Nærbøås" to "narboas" over
 "naerboeaas" because I havenæt seen any problems with that.

 But if search engines better recognizes this standard than the current and
 simpler WordPress way, then I also go for it.

 The Scandinavian lobby at WordCamp Europe could have a chat about it in
 the weekend, and report back here. I'll be there, too. I'm quite sure
 nobody wants this ticket laying around unresolved because of minor
 differences in preferences.
