Comment:

 We compromised in 3.5 by adding the edit link in Add Media modal with the
 understanding that at a later time we might be able to refresh the
 attachment data in the modal to snag changes.

 But it didn't happen in this cycle. Sounds like a candidate for 3.7-early.
