 The HUGE advantage to having the standard text not show at first, is that
 when you switch to another post format that uses the standard UI (chat,
 status, or aside) you can visually see that something happened because it
 slides down to show the text.  It's not nearly as noticeable that
 something happened if the only change is the content of the text.
