 New patch would default to not fixing the bug on this ticket ( :sadface: )
 but would make the incrementing id's available via "opting in".

 I don't endorse "fixing" this. It leaves the default way broken.

 Generally, the themes doing crazy stuff involving the id's would have a
 searchform template. Even for themes without searchform.php, who styled
 the id's, the first form would appear the same as always. Only subsequent
 forms would have some style tweaks missing.
