 I may be missing something but applying both dashCols.patch and column-
 overlap.patch breaks the Dashboard badly when a user folds/unfolds the
 menu.

 Also the setting for columns switches from 4 to 3 at about 1200px but if a
 forth column is displayed it stays as-is and the columns overlap. The
 forth column should move under the third column in that case.
