 I could've sworn the not-yet-finalized
 [http://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/coding-standards/css/#properties
 CSS coding] standards called for 6-char, lowercased hex codes. You
 probably got that conflicting information from me. When in doubt, check
 the doc.
