 These are really great. I love the look and feel of them paired with Open
 Sans. The paintbrush is especially nice, and I think overall, the tone of
 the icons is appropriate and blends nicely. The tightening of the
 roundness in the media icon helps, although the middle hump in the camera
 is lost a bit. The details in the key get lost, and I think the ridges
 could be brought out more. They are looking a little lumpy. The wrench
 seems to be the lightest of the group, and it doesn't fit in as well. You
 could try and make the base of the wrench wider. If you needed to
 simplify, I could see the hole in the wrench being filled. Also, to
 simplify the key, you could lose the ridges altogether. To simplify the
 settings icon, maybe try losing the vertical bars?

 I am 100% behind an icon font, if it is made correctly.

 I agree that they looked cramped in the menu, and most of the icons look
 misaligned vertically. I think some extra padding would solve that
 problem.
