Yes , I agree with you I was thinking about something like that before a
few months , It's very good to plugins and themes to give the user more
powerful menus .
Another Idea is to add a context menu items , I means add the ability to
show items for the logged-in-users or shows items in home page only ...
etc ... I thing it's a plugin job but it still a good idea :)
