 My thought was to show "Home" and "login" by default.  Mostly because
 these are particularly hard to figure out how to add to the menu.  But
 then to allow theme devs to hook in and add/remove whatever links they
 want.  I don't think we should auto-populate with frequently-used links.

 Open to suggestions.  How about "Helpful links", or "Quick links"?

 I think it's okay to have just 2 links.  I don't want to add too many, or
 we'll lose the "Custom Links" meta box at the bottom fold.
