 Seems like #17689 would fix this ticket as well.

 However, the sanitization in `_wp_ajax_add_hierarchical_term()` and
 `wp_ajax_add_link_category()` still seems redundant (see comment:9), so
 [attachment:16567.2.diff] might still make sense.
