 It fixes the error but throws the following warning:
 {{{
 JQMIGRATE: $(html) HTML strings must start with '<' character
 }}}
 Removing both leading characters {{{\n\t}}} as shown in attachment:22975
 .custom-fields.diff seems to get rid of the warning too.
