Thanks ocean90,
however I believe that is exactly my point. 95% of the users won't
understand how to sort their content using the metadata, let alone playing
with the functions.php file.
Is there no way to increase usability here a little bit? To me, a heavy WP
user for many year, it comes as no surprise that a (now semi-commercial)
plugin like Nextgen is so popular. Wordpress is really far behind when it
comes to media management, and your answer (no blame, I understand)
confirms this.
Again, I'd appreciate if you could share with the team if there is a way
to increase the usability of media management in Wordpress, without having
to make a lot of tweaks, rather "out of the box".
Thanks!
T.
