 Would love to see this implemented ASAP. I am now working on a new project
 that includes video uploads and would like to be able to display a video
 thumbnail using native functions. Obviously, this can't be done until we
 work this out. It is a rather unfortunate situation to have to remove the
 default icon row from the list table completely, and replace it with my
 own in order to display thumbnails.
