 I derailed the spirit of this ticket, sorry :( My two cents: get the whole
 quick edit (and by extension, bulk edit) panel working REALLY well from an
 accessibility standpoint, and then we'll worry about how exactly visible
 links gets activated. If the first part is already done and tested,
 though, please correct me.
