Comment:

 +1 to pretty much everything @johnjamesjacoby has written. The icons in
 /trunk/ right now feel incredibly out of place with the overral Dashboard
 and have an awkward relationship with other plugin icons. Rebranding one
 part of the Dashboard without flattening the entire thing makes the icons
 look like they don't belong. As mentioned, the icons in their own right
 are beautiful, but I think rolling this in without making visual changes
 to surrounding elements is a mistake.
