 Ended up rearranging the previous sprites

 menu-2x.png], etc. to match the old sprites. It sounded good to make the
 sprites into proper grids but that doesn't really fix anything and would
 make all plugins that reuse these sprites look bad.

 Had to tweak the dimensions for the 32px icons so the new icons show
 properly (they are closer to 36x36).
