 Thanks Andrew.  I am familiar with Tortoise SVN (use it for my WP
 plugins).  Your instructions are very clear, thank you, and I'm getting
 ready to get it going.  I really want to contribute to this part of the
 project.. and I feel my input would be very useful.

 click OK. That's all. Then `svn up`, `svn diff`, `svn revert`, and pretty
 much all SVN commands are available on the right-click menu, and you'll be
 able to run WordPress from the /src directory.
