 Just upgraded to the beautiful 3.8.

 But now in multisite:

 1) in the media section of edit/create POST, the media gallery has gone
 blank (is not finding the media files associated with the site

 2) the featured images are not being found

 Typically, the media calls are going to:

 http://name_of_site.com/sub_site_name/files/2013/12/name_of_file.jpg

 Instead of to:

 http://name_of_site.com/sub_site_name/wp-
 content/uploads/2013/12/name_of_file.jpg

 which seems to be the new standard.

 Also, migration does not seem to have fully occurred from the old
 standard:

 http://name_of_site.com/blogs.dir/blog_id/files/2013/12/name_of_file.jpg
