 In make/core thread I already voted for complete removal of Open Sans
 since I believe it doesn't belong in core considering circumstances.

 For anyone concerned, I made a plugin that stops WordPress from loading
 font stylesheet from Google: http://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-google-
 fonts/
