Comment:

 I don't think this is done. Again: I understand there was the possibility
 we might break backwards compatibility here, but breaking
 wp.heartbeat.interval() seems a bit overboard. We should not go out of our
 way to break things. Clearly it was public API, as we were using it. Can
 we not alias it and any other renamed functions?
