 [attachment:26334.patch] follows the pattern of
 `maybe_disable_automattic_widgets()`:
 [source:tags/3.7.1/src/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php#L1960]

 Disables MP6, THX38, and DASH plugins. Widgets Area Chooser has the same
 file name as the Automattic widgets plugin (`widgets.php`), and therefore
 is handled by the above function.
