 When you say you needed this to 'convert' your URLs, it's a little
 strange.

 This was a summary from the example you posted in the forums:

   developurl.com/site-a-nl to site-a.com
   developurl.com/site-a-en to site-a.com/en
   developurl.com/site-a-ru to site-b.com/ru
   developurl.com/site-b-nl to site-b.com
   developurl.com/site-b-en to site-b.com/en
   developurl.com/site-b-ru to site-b.com/ru

 It really feels like this is an edge case, where you set up a Multisite
 one way only to want to move it to a totally different way. As you noted
 in the post, this really should have been done with the domain mapping
 plugin (and probably a multi-network plugin for the sub-sites per mapped
 domain).

 Suggesting #wontfix - please reopen this if you think it still needs to be
 worked on.
