Comment:

 I like the idea. The save mode is a fast option to help users, custumors.
 Currently I have a custom solution inside the plugin Debug Objects.
 https://github.com/bueltge/Debug-Objects/blob/master/inc/class-
 default_mode.php

 But the topic is more complex for me. It is possible to deactivate plugins
 and switch the theme to a default theme. But Is not so easy to change the
 roles and capabilities to the defaults, but is also often a topic on
 debugging.
