Comment:

 The display name or "FromName" is ran through the
 [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/src/wp-includes/class-
 phpmailer.php#L1921 EncodeHeader] method which does validation of display
 name. See: http://sourceforge.net/p/phpmailer/bugs/207/
