 I agree with the potential confusion this UI can/will create especially
 with the number of changes "under the page" that are related to the UI.

 Is the best approach an all or nothing for the interface; or, simply show
 which Post-Formats, if any, the theme author has decided to support
 directly or indirectly as the case may be.
