 Ah, why all the `!important` in the css :( Don't think they are needed.

 Also is the "split button" background supposed to be darker/different from
 the normal buttons?

 Still thinking it looks better without any separators/spacers. When no
 borders they make the buttons around them look out of alignment or
 misplaced.
