Comment:

 I get the following error after php security update, in a multisite blog
 that uses many submenus and now doesn't let to add anymore:

 ''PHP Warning:  Unknown: Input variables exceeded 1000. To increase the
 limit change max_input_vars in php.ini.''

 I wouldn't like to change php.ini. What I should do?
