 Hotfix 0.9 is now out, and will fix these issues with WordPress 3.4.2:
 http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/hotfix/.

 Once we can confirm [21781] is a complete fix with no lingering bugs, we
 can port that to the 3.4 branch. No timeline or current plans for 3.4.3.
