Comment:

 While looking at image sizes... it would be a huge improvement to allow a
 max size that uploads will never be bigger than. Currently the "max size"
 adjusts that large size, but the huge original image is still uploaded and
 remains on the server.

 Working with a lot of photographers, they upload images at the scale of
 4,000px wide and more. It can really eat up space, especially in
 MulitSite. Large images also make import/export much harder. I've seen
 imports rendered impossible because the first item in the WXR is an image
 that is 5MB and won't make the trip.

 Can I suggest two possible routes?
 1) A second size setting so we have one for the "large" size and one for
 the ultimate "original" size - or
 2) Possibly an option that would allow unlimited "original" images to be
 uploaded, or crop to a max size and delete the actual upload - or a
 constant that we can define that would do the same.
