 Although it is a redundancy, I believe having a View Post" link somewhere
 within the Edit screen is a UI gain. Although its current location is
 definitely undesirable - "View Posts" is quite unrelated to Editing a
 Permalink.

 I'd like to suggest to move the View Post button to the Publish meta box.
 Although "View Post" is not technically a "Publish" action, saving a post
 and viewing a post are very related activities. This would allow users to
 hit Update/Publish and immediately be in the vicinity of "View Post."
 Thoughts?
