 We should be able to escape the `:` when using the CSS classes in jQuery:

 "If you wish to use any of the meta-characters ( such as
 !"#$%&'()*+,./:;<=>?@[\]^`{|}~ ) as a literal part of a name, you must
 escape the character with two backslashes: \\."
