Comment:

 Does this ticket cover actually setting the Featured image from the modal
 after upload? After [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/35-beta-missing-
 useas-featured-image-link-in-media-upload-screen?replies=3 a post]  in the
 alpha/beta forum I realized this isn't currently possible.
