 >This ticket has gotten quite long and did contain a good, important fix,
 so let's leave this one as is.

 No prob, will open new thread w/ example when time.  Until then can anyone
 explain how to apply the patch? Will it prevent custom HTML/CSS from being
 removed? After having to rebuild entire pages due to this issue, I have
 resorted to extreme measures to protect client sites - copying all of a
 page's code to a text file, cloning pages as emergency backups, etc.
