Comment:

 Attached [attachment:22044.3.diff] which puts the menus in line for me in
 IE7/8 using a combination of CSS hacks for IE7 and CSS3 Media Queries from
 [attachment:22044.patch]. Looks and acts pretty close to Firefox.

 Also attached screenshots of the patched nav menus from IE7/8. Please
 test.
