 Since we're on the subject, what's the point of the 'wp_' prefix?

 'wp_editors' was renamed to 'wp_image_editors', but I think
 'image_editors' is clear enough.

 Similarly, 'image_editor_instance' instead of 'wp_image_editor_instance'.
