 Just tested the branch on a blog with 2,862 posts and 2,400 comments.
 Works absolutely fine. I've closed #15290 as fixed, and I'm willing to
 give this one a hearty ship-it.

 Thank you very much for giving this component the dose of concentrated
 development it needed.
