 I have tested this on WP7 again and confirmed that it works as advertised.

 This issue has been around since at least 3.3 and prevents users from
 logging out since "Log out" is hidden in a flyout menu (when touching
 "Howdy, <x>", it executes a page navigation before the flyout can appear).
