Comment:

 I have the same problem as ilovecolors. The editor_template_src.js file
 gets deleted every time I update WordPress.

 I looked in the source code and the file is listed in the `$_old_files`
 array in `wp-admin/includes/update-core.php`

 I've attached a patch.
